Steeped in tradition, this is the oldest golf club in the Lisbon area, offering an incredibly authentic 18-hole, par-69 layout originally based on classic Scottish design traditions. Tucked away within a valley in the Serra da Carregueira, the course is unique because it is entirely free from surrounding real estate developments, providing a genuinely quiet, unspoiled countryside sanctuary. A natural brook flows actively through the entire length of the course, creating both a scenic centerpiece and a persistent hazard. Unique Microclimate & Upkeep: Enveloped by dense forest biodiversity and mountain slopes, the course utilizes an automatic irrigation system to keep its fairways and greens pristine all year. The 3rd Hole: Widely regarded as one of Portugal's most beautiful holes, this par-three features elevated tees looking over a brook slicing through the fairway and continuing down the right side. The 18th Challenge: The final hole represents the ultimate layout challenge, requiring players to navigate a meandering brook that wraps around the green, which is heavily fortified by bunkers.
